Featherston Vinyl Club (FVC) is a group of local record collectors & DJs all with an eclectic taste in music on vinyl.

What do FVC do
FVC put on our own monthly events such as the Sunday Session and themed Saturday night parties and can also provide the sounds for community events.

Sunday session
Roughly once a month at Waimarie Eatery & Bar / Featherston RSA, the Sunday Sessions are open events for anyone who wants a spin. Dust off your 45s or play your favourite new release – they can show you the ropes on the wheels of steel, or if you know your way around just bring your records. Send them a message beforehand, and they’ll make sure there’s time for you to play. What are you spinning?

FVC Presents…
These are themed parties a few times a year – think 80s Night, 90s Night and the Halloween Ball. They take care of the tunes – dress up, turn up and enjoy the classics and rarities of the FVC DJs’ collections.

They often pop up at Booktown Karukatea, Featherston’s Matariki Festival and other community events around Featherston and Wairarapa. Keep your eye on the social media pages for the next event.
