A secondhand bookshop specialising in the best of modern and classic literature. They stock a selection of Antiquarian and Collector’s books and have a large collection of quality reference books covering such diverse subjects as History, Transport, Architecture, Gardening, Cookery, Art, Philosophy and Politics amongst many others.

The Tea Rooms provide a range of cakes and patisserie in addition to Devonshire Cream Teas from Thursday through to Sunday! Booking is advisable on holidays and busy weekends!

They are also proud of their collection of New Zealand reference books and the best of New Zealand literature.

We are part of Featherston Booktown – the only official booktown in New Zealand.

The shop also stocks a range of small antiques, porcelain, crystal glass and curios in addition to greeting cards and a small number of paintings and prints.
